The assembled smaller works are playful and spontaneous, I let them be and they can totally change as they come together - if I have a loose plan to begin with they almost always deviate and become clearer as I go. As with my paintings, in these assembled works and in the mini garden sculptures I'm capturing a moment and expressing a memory of a place
